Went down on the saturday hoping for a kitesurf session to try out my new board but wasn't a goer as there was hardly a breath of wind around 11am. Decided to go back to aber and hit the pub at half 12 instead which naturally turned into another alldayer.

Woke up on the sunday with a stinking hangover and the sun was out so conditions looked ideal.
Got down to Ynslas; had a couple more hours kip and then ventured out to use my board for the first time for my very first proper kitesurfing session!!

Didn't know what the hell I was doin so Neil and 1 or 2 others kindly gave me tips on what to do which helped enourmously (cheers for that Neil). Front/leading leg straight and downwind wind towards the kite to build up speed before edging and heaing slightly upwind.

Had a good 3 hours I reckon with loadsa dragging on the shoreline. Managed a few short runs near the end of the session which felt awesome as I had made progress. Just a few more sessions like that would be ideal but once again its gonna be a while before I can get out again! I know once I can get going properly im jus gonna be addicted!!!

Went down on the Moday as well around 4ish but was jus way too strong for my 12metre so waited around for a few hours waiting for it to drop off but it didn't so ventured of home.
Another top weekend down in Mid Wales. Cant wait for the next bank holiday now.
